How a Steel Fence Post Looks Better Than a Wood Post

Okay, we get it. Wood posts warp. Wood posts rot. Steel posts, of course, do neither. That’s understood. The big question is, “how does it look?”

Of course, a steel post on a wooden fence sounds a bit taboo. Want it look off?

It will look different. The picture above shows the “ugly side“ of the fence. Do you see the posts? No, they’re covered. This is our traditional cap and trim fence using postmaster plus posts. The posts are set in concrete. We build the fence otherwise normal. The major benefit is that these fence posts will stay straight and never deteriorate.
